LEADERSHIP

Service, curiosity, and community have been consistent threads in both my professional and personal life.

I have extensive local, national, and global leadership experience in areas seeking social and environmental justice, meeting the rights and needs of our world's children, and in various aspects of community development. I am deeply committed to service projects, primarily through my role in Rotary International and in the professional projects I have been honored to produce. Meeting the needs of others is a huge part of what drives me.

FAMILY

My family is the center of my life. I’m grateful to be an involved father, husband, and rescue-dog "dad."

WELLNESS

I value faith, service, and a healthy life-work balance, and I try to approach my work and relationships with steadiness, humility, and care.

TRAVEL

I always long to travel, especially a bit off-the-beaten-path, engaging with people, and exploring diverse communities and environments.

ACTIVITIES

I am an avid soccer player and former coach. I am an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, camping, boating, and backpacking. I have (according to my family) an annoyingly fast walking speed.

• I speak intermediate French.
• I adore classic and foreign cinema.
• I play "campfire" guitar--albeit rather poorly.
• I do all my own home construction.
